Darren Beyer grew up on a farm in West Central Minnesota surrounded by the sounds of country and rock music. He received his first guitar at 11 years old and started disc jockeying for his parents' country western dance lessons by the age of 13. Inspired by local bands he encountered while accompanying his parents to dancehalls, Darren embarked on a long journey to live his dream of playing  guitar and singing in a band, which he finally achieved at the age of 36. Since then, he has engaged in various music collaborations and solo acoustic shows, performing covers of hit country and classic rock tunes that span multiple decades.
